The ZW32-12F Outdoor High Voltage Intelligent Demarcation Vacuum Circuit Breaker, also known as a "Watchdog," is a specialized protective device designed for 12kV overhead distribution networks. Its primary purpose is to prevent widespread power outages on the main feeder line caused by faults occurring within a user's branch line or at the end user's installation. By automatically isolating localized faults (such as overcurrent, short-circuit, or single-phase ground faults) at the responsibility demarcation point, it ensures continuous power supply to users in non-faulty sections of the network.

Applications

This circuit breaker is ideally installed at the responsibility demarcation point, which is the legal and operational boundary between the utility's distribution line and the user's installation.

User Incoming Line Point: Installed at the T-connection or terminal point where a user taps off the main 12kV distribution line.
Branch Line Protection: Can also be applied on branch line connections that meet the technical requirements.
